Bronze Water Features
Some gardens suit stillness. Others come alive with a gentle sound and a familiar character keeping you company. Our bronze water features are handmade in the South West of England, inspired by classic literature and modelled from beloved illustrations before being cast and finished by hand.
You will find pieces from Alice in Wonderland, The Wind in the Willows, Winnie the Pooh, Edward Lear and more, from smaller tabletop fountains to statement centrepieces. If you already have a chapter in mind, use the filters below to browse by author, novel, size, and casting method.

What our customers have to say
Hello over there in England
I bought my Christopher Robin water feature 10 years ago after visiting your stand at the Chelsea Flower Show. He was delivered safely and securely all the way to Perth in Western Australia. Still working perfectly and making me smile every day. He sits on a stand outside my bathroom window where I can see him from the inside as well.
Thankyou - I love him.
How our Bronze Water Features Work
Our smaller water features run using a stainless steel sump that holds and circulates the water, usually concealed within an urn, column or tabletop so it can be planted out and enjoyed as part of the setting. The filter can be removed and cleaned, and the flow can be adjusted.
Some designs are made to appear as though they are floating on water, using adjustable supports fixed to a base on the pond floor, allowing the height to be set precisely so the character sits naturally on the surface. If you are planning a pond installation, we can advise on the best approach.
Water features will need access to a source of electricity for the pump. We will make sure you have the relevant information in advance, and we always recied electrician for electrical connections.
To complete a space, you may also like our bronze garden sculptures and bronze miniatures, which pair beautifully with water and planting.
FAQs
How often should you change the water in a bronze water feature?
We’d recommend changing the water in your bronze water feature at least once a month. As a general rule: the cleaner the water, the slower the spread of algae.
Should a bronze water feature be left on all the time?
For the purposes of saving energy, consider using a timer or switching off your bronze garden water feature when it’s not in use or at night time, particularly if you’re going to be away for an extended period.
Can you leave a bronze water feature out in winter?
Any metal garden water feature will require particular care during winter and it’s vital they are drained-off properly before a frost sets in. Any water that’s left in the pipes will freeze, expand, and even cause the pipes to burst. This may also result in the castings failing.
How often should bronze water fountains be cleaned?
Your garden water feature should be cleaned once a month or every couple of months, depending on the size.
Will the water make the bronze water feature rust?
No. Bronze does not rust in the way iron does. Over time, bronze develops a natural patina which is part of its character. For keeping the finish looking its best, see our care kit and care guidance.
Where should a water feature be placed?
A bronze water feature is incredibly robust, which offers plenty of flexibility when it comes to placement as you’re not limited by the risk of potential damage.
Before deciding where to install your water feature, in practical distance from a mains water supply, think about where you’re likely to get the most visual pleasure from your piece. In viewing distance from a summer house or a large bay window, perhaps, so you can enjoy your water feature whilst indoors. Or make your water feature the centrepiece of a patio or decking area, or somewhere where it can be seen from as many vantage points in your garden as possible.
