Although a cold cast sculpture is fairly robust—after all, the technique is used in the creation of large fiberglass boats—you do need to be a little more careful with their placement as they will not survive any kind of blunt impact. Position your cold cast sculpture away from older trees or anywhere it’s likely to topple over onto a hard surface. Squirrel Nutkin is hardy, resourceful character, but his cold cast adaptation does need to be taken care of!
