First published in 1970, Mog the Forgetful Cat introduced readers to the Thomas family’s absent-minded cat, whose days are full of forgotten breakfasts, muddled routines and small household disasters. Judith Kerr gave Mog a warmth, comic gentleness and unmistakable personality that has kept her close to generations of readers ever since.
Gentle humour in bronze
Mog joined the Robert James Workshop collection through the same HarperCollins and Tacy Kneale collaboration unveiled at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025.
